What could I bring to a forest hang-out?
I was walking in the woods with some friends and we walked off the path to discover a little hang-out spot. There were tree stumps set in a circle around a large tree stump with a candle on it. We met some guys who have been frequenting the same spot for years and wanted to leave some stuff for them next time as a thank you for letting us hang-out there. I’ve got a box of incense, an incense burner, some magazines, bug spray, incense swirled with citronella to deter bugs and some paper and writing utensils to draw with. Occaisonally people smoke weed back there, too.
Any ideas for other stuff I could leave down there in hope of them sharing them with everyone?
P.S.: We’re all hippies too, keep that in mind.

As an “old” hippie from the 60′s we used to love reading Henry David Thoreau’s “Walden” while hanging out in the woods. Get a copy of this book and put it in a sealable baggie and leave it. We used to love sitting around reading and discussing passages from the book.
Your idea about drawing utensils, etc. is excellent! Nice to do some sketching while enjoying the outdoors!
