He cites statistics that american christians’ are living the same lifestyles as non-believers (smoking, drinking, divorce, not God-focussed etc)
I am christian, but not American.

I think anyone who ‘needs’ God, tells others they ‘need’ God, condescend to people who choose not to believe in God or in their interpretation of God, judge others based on a few passages of a book (The Bible), and behave as if though they know for a fact that what they believe is the only truth have already displayed that they are about as fake as it gets since they base everything on a fake make believe religious ideology that there is one God, that they know God, that God sent them a book and wrote it but used writers to write it but its his words, sent his kid who is also God and yet a man but a man God to die to allow for our bad deeds to be forgiven since only by being beat and hung on a stick can that be done, and yet somehow has never allowed himself to be something tangible and undeniable throughout all of history and up until modern times but yet someday the end will come and then he will be right there for all to see undeniably at a time that we are never to know but we were given “signs” which are so vague that every year and every century those “signs” are alleged to have appeared and occurred. And all those who dare deny, to Hell you go. You can’t deny what you can’t see and so long as it is the right thing to not deny, then you had better not deny it… Now THAT IS FAKE!!!

Why it is difficult to stop smoking?

The answer is easy – nicotine. It is a drug that is contained in tobacco. Smoking person have emotionally and physically dependence. If you want to quit smoking you should fight with both.

What will be after you stop smoking?

Person who smokes few month or longer will have withdrawal symptoms. It start after 1-2 hour after last smoked cigarette and reach peak in 2 or 3 days. It depends when all nicotine are out. This symptoms may last for a few days to up to several weeks. But they will fade with each passing smoke-free day.

The short list of withdrawal symptoms:

• depression
• anxiety
• irritability
• dizziness
• headaches
• chest tightness

Why do you need to stop smoking?

At the top of reasons is your health. Statistics shows that a half part of smokers dying from a smoking-related illness. In America 1 of 5 deathes are from tobacco. Let’s look through some diseases:

Cancer

Smoking cause lung cancer, but also tobacco cause other types of cancer like cancer of throat, mouth, esophagus, bladder, cervix and leukemias.

Lung illness

Pneumnia is on the top of the list. Also there are chronic bronchitis and emphysema.

Blood vessel diseases and heart attacks

Smokers have twiced risk of death from heart attacks. Also tobacco affects the walls of the vessels.

Women and babies

They are in group of highest risk. Lower birth-baby and many more.

The benefits of stop smoking

30 minutes after quitting: Your heart rate and blood pressure drops.

14 hours after quitting: The carbon monoxide level in your blood drops to normal.

2 weeks to 3 months after quitting: Your circulation improves and your lung function increases.

1 to 9 months after quitting: Coughing and shortness of breath decrease; cilia (tiny hair-like structures that move mucus out of the lungs) regain normal function in the lungs, increasing the ability to handle mucus, clean the lungs, and reduce the risk of infection.

1 year after quitting: The excess risk of coronary heart disease is half that of a smoker’s.

4 years after quitting: Your stroke risk is reduced to that of a non-smoker 5 to 15 years after quitting.

10 years after quitting: The lung cancer death rate is about half that of a person who continues smoking. The risk of cancer of the mouth, throat, esophagus, bladder, cervix, and pancreas decrease, too.

14 years after quitting: The risk of coronary heart disease is the same as a non-smoker’s

If more people die from alcohol than marijuana….?

Statistics show that alcohol is the #1 leading cause of death from any drug, second on the list is Meth and a list of other hard narcotics….then wow.. last on the list with 0 known deaths due to overdose or indirect relations.
It’s my understanding that many non-smokers are quick to judge anyone that smokes marijuana is instantly labeled “pot-head” and this ill-image of a low-life individual is concieved.
Comming from a list of family and friends that have always been responsible with the drug (most of which prefer it since alcohol …yano.. the “legal” one..has lead to abuse and problems in my family).
My question is this… why is the leading killer drug in america legal (alcohol), along with ciggarettes that are filled with non-tobacco chemicals such as arsenic (spelling?) which is rat-poison and it’s perfectly fine to use and/or abuse them in most cases.. but weed is frowned upon and made out to be the big no-no?…

no one…NOT ONE PERSON……has ever died from ingesting Marijuana…….( in any form )…in order to ingest a toxic amount….you would have to eat/smoke upwards of 5 or more POUNDS of it……which is impossible…

and, since tobacco, alcohol, and pharmaceutical companies fund our government….and thus, our economy….if marijuana were made legal on a federal level….these companies would lose billions and billions of dollars…and so would our economy…

tell your reps in Congress to vote yes! for legalization, at least for medical patients who are suffering both with their illnesses AND with the horrible side-effects of conventional medicines…
