Has anyone else gotten a false negative over 8 weeks into pregnancy?
My periods are really regular but I just missed my period for the second month in a row. Pregnancy calculators say I’m about 9 weeks but I got 2 negative tests last month and the one I took yesterday was negative. I have definately had symptoms such as horrible mood swings, feeling tired (more like wiped out), and certain smells make me want to vomit. I am going to the doctor on Monday to make sure and have given up drinking and smoking just to be safe, but I want to know if anyone else has gotten false negatives this far along? I have none of the risk factors for ectopic pregnancy.
Yep..with my first pregnancy I was 12 weeks before I got a positive urine test and miscarried at 14 weeks… this go around I didn’t get a positive urine test until after 7 months! I had a positive and normal blood test! Craaaazy! My situation is pretty rare but it does happen. Best bet is to go ahead and get a blood test. HCG should show in a urine test by now but you never know. Go aheead and get a blood test to rule out pregnancy and get to the root of your mysterious missing period.

I had alcohol, smoked marijuana and danced like crazy in early pregnancy

A week ago, i went to a concert with friends and had 4 or 5 drinks, smoked one joint and danced a couple of hours.I had no idea i was pregnant. and that too after trying and praying so desperately for 7+ years. i’m 31 yrs old now.me and hubby have been trying for years. and today i found out i’m pregnant but now i’m so scared. i don’t drink regularly. on weekends mostly and not more than 2 or 3 drinks. but last week i got drunk and ended up throwing up a couple of times. according to pregnancy calculator i’m just 4 or 5 weeks pregnant. what are the risks that i have harmed the fetus. what should i do now. i feel so sorry and so bad. plz any suggestions??. ,

You will be ok and so will the baby. I know people who knew they were pregnant and continued to do all that. Just take care of yourself and get on some prenatal vitamins. Make your first doctors appointment too
