Yes, it is possible to get high off of oxycodone. One needs to be careful about taking it to get high, because of the potential of sudden death from respiratory depression, and its strong addiction potential.

As for the effects of oxycodone compared to marijuana, it is quite different. Oxycodone is, for most people, more pleasurable than marijuana, but this is offset by its much higher risk of addiction/dependence compared to marijuana.

If you’re thinking of trying this medication, take my advice and stick with the marijuana. Oxy may feel great, but you could end up in more problems that you want to imagine.

Oxycodone is a depressant. The more you abuse it, the worse your depression will get. The side effects vary and if you are not careful, some of them (like depression and heart based ailments) can be permanent fixtures even after you stop taking those drugs. So obviously if you don’t enjoy feeling down, then just do the smart thing and stop abusing these things. Otherwise, you lose the right to complain because you are bringing this crap onto yourself.
