what plant looks exactly like the marijuana plant?

I found a plant that looks exactly like marijuana. i brought it in my house to compare it to internet pics of weed, and i found out it was a male so i went outside got a female one compared it again then i was pretty happy lol. but then after i dryed it, it smelled like mint. but i said w/e and smoked it and nothing happened but my lungs hurt so what was that plant?
i checked it out and they are real.. and theres alot of em few are female and they female are all surrounded by males so i figure thats y i didnt get high?

There’s a plant growers use to trick people called “ducks feet”. It looks almost the exact same as bud plants but has smooth edges as compaired to ridged leaf edges on the marijuana plant. They use it so if someone happens to stumble upon their weed farm, they’ll look at the ducks feet and assume it’s not pot at all. If I was you, I’d do a little more snooping around where you found the plant and see whats up, you might get lucky, or shot.
