How can I get salvia in North Carolina?

Apparently they just passed a law baning salvia in North Carolina, coming in effect Dec. 1, 2009. Does that mean the selling and smoking of it? Is it still possible to buy it in smoke shops?
I also heard that they are just selling it as a herb now, to bypass the law.

Anyway will someone clear this us for me? I need to figure out a way to buy some.

Plus its a fun town lots of happenings and great music.
I don’t know anything about a salvia law. I just plant them every spring because they are pretty in my flower boxes.
