Can I get addicted to hydrocodone if I’m prescribed it?
Alright, I just got my tonsils removed and it hurts like a mother…
The doctor prescribed me liquid hydrocodone. I used to take quite a few pills and I used to smoke a lot of marijuana about 4 months ago (maybe longer). I’ve read a little about hydrocodone and got a little worried. I want to know if I can get addicted to this stuff if I’m prescribed for my throat? I’m NOT a drug addict and just would like for some peoples experiences or whatever.
Oh I get really tired from this too, is that normal?
I take about 1-2 tablespoons of this a day.
Also, I am no longer abusing pills or any medication and I am no longer smoking marijuana. I am clean from any type of drug besides hydrocodone, because I am taking it now for my throat.
Yes you can get addicted very easily, but, it would take a long time to get full blown addiction to it. If you have no access to it and dont seek it after you’re done with that bottle, it should’nt be a problem.

Am I addicted to Hydrocodone?
I started Taking vicodin/hydrocodone last week and already when i dint have a pill i feel sick and cold and depressed,almost like im empty.Is it possible that in such a short time ive gotten dependent on these pills.They were never prescribed for me but i took them recreationally and felt euphoric and almost numb now im feeling sick because i have not had another one today(ive had a few today,also im on sleeping pills and antidepressants which i take with a bottle of beer)I also smoke marijuana usually a few times a day every day but i have not today.I often choose not to smoke and feel fine but since the pills i feel like death.
You're obviously a person who uses drugs because you don't know how to be happy on your own. You can get dependent on narcotics really fast so wean yourself down slowly and figure out how to deal with life without having to stuff yourself with chemicals.
