I think i’m supposed to be born in the 70′s…?
I’m 16 and was born in 93, but I swear i’m a 70′s baby. I love all old music. The beatles, the doors, led zeppelin, pink floyd, hendrix, janis joplin
and even 70′s and 80′s bands.

I even dress like it, but i don’t like to call myself a hippie because i don’t need to label myself. I don’t smoke weed though, i mean i’ve done it before but just expierementing. my taste in everything clothes, styles, music, even room decorating my mom and dad say i belong back then.
is this normal?

I am 27 and horrified my friends when I was 12 when I tried to explain to them what a “cover” version of a song is, and half the stuff they were listening to have been done before – they simply didn’t believe me. I also used to trawl car boot sales (the UK equivalent to a garage sale) to hunt for old vinyls and memorabilia – I still do from time to time.
I think we are pretty lucky in the UK, as we have dedicated radio stations for music from the 1970′s, one for the 1980′s and a dedicated Rock station for anything pre 1995, it kind of feels like I’ve never left sometimes ;o)
It’s great that you feel comfortable enough in your own skin to dress the way you want, listen to the stuff you like and be yourself – not many teenagers feel that way about themselves.
