I’m grinding my teeth out of no where. Is it because I stopped smoking, or because I took adderall?
I’ve always thought I had ADD. I was tested for it as a child and it said I have a slight case of it. I’m not sure if it wore away or not. But!
Today I used 1 adderall to see how it would effect me.
I noticed a positive change in my attitude and work habits!
But ever since I chewed a piece of “Big Red”, I seem to be grinding my teeth out of no where. I don’t notice that I’m doing it, and when I do I try to stop myself. The feeling is kind of like I have to do it, like OCDish.
Anyways, I also stopped smoking marijuana for a few days now, and today is the 2nd day I havent. I smoked much more than I should of over the past 7 months.
Could the grinding be because of the adderall, or because of quitting?

no. teeth grinding is caused by mis-alignment of jaws. and nothing to do with smokin or marijuana.

5) It can cause many heart and lung diseases that, of course, cause one to age prematurely.
6) When you begin smoking, it is highly likely that you
will develop an addiction to nicotine.
7) Women who smoke have a higher incidence of infertility.
Women who smoke during pregnancy, greatly increase their odds of miscarriage.
9) Some of the ingredients in cigarettes are pure poison: ammonia, benzene, DDT, butane gas, carbon monoxide, and arsenic.
This is just a small sampling of the harmful smoking effects I identified during my research. Frankly, the list is enough to keep me on the wagon!

the ADA says that meth it’s self is not the deteriorate of the teeth. It is the fact that:
1. Normal people brush at least upon wakening and then before bed. Meth addicts do not sleep regularly therefore do not brush.
2. Dehydration. If one is dehydrated there becomes an abundance of bacteria in the mouth.
These and the total lack of self pride is what makes teeth the way you see them.
I myself have been doing meth for 15 years. I have nice white beautiful teeth. I drink plenty of water and milk. I also brush and floss regularly. My husband and close friends all have teeth. Some were bought though.
