Can you smoke Damiana Powder?
I can’t seem to find the leaves sold any where local but a couple of stores have the powder. Would the effect be the same if you smoked the powder compared to the leaves? And would making a tea out of it give the same effect as smoking it?
Smoking the powder would be fine only if it is 100% pure, organic Damiana… A lot of powdered herbs come in gelcaps and sometimes have additives, like sulphites (preservatives) so just be sure anything you plan on smoking is additive free!! Making a tea would be fine with the powder, even if it has sulphites added…. I’d say 3/4 tsp. of the powder per cup to start, see where your comfort zone is. Let it steep covered in a ceramic mug for 30 minutes to ensure getting the most out of the herb. Trial and error, see what works for you!!
