I havent smoked in 7 months I have a 2 week old that I breastfeed and formula feed… I really want a cigarette… Does anyone know the information about smoking while breastfeeding…
Congratulations on your baby and quitting smoking (that’s right!). You’ve made it 7 months and that’s fantastic, cravings are just part of the deal. I quit 2 years ago in January & have a 6 month old son. I still have cravings occassionally. Especially when i’m really stressed, tired, or cranky. But the longer it is the fewer cravings I have. Keep going!

How Harmful is 1 Cigarette while breastfeeding ?
Lately i’ve been contemplating have a smoke even though im breast feeding ( i’ve just had alot of drama for the past 3 weeks) , i haven’t done it ( i most likely won’t ) but want to know how bad just 1 could be.
You can go 60-90 minutes between smoking and feeding. So 1 won’t hurt, as long as it’s in that time frame. You can even have 1 right after feeding. This worked for me with all 3 of my kids, and they are all healthy. It is still better than formula feeding.
