What to do with smoked turkey slices..?
Well I have a packet of the smoked turkey slices and I want to try something different then just slapping it on to a piece of bread..If anyone has some recipes using the turkey slices that would be great =) Thanks
If you’re just sick of turkey right now, toss the pack in your freezer. Thaw in the fridge when you’re ready for more sandwiches.
Make a chef’s salad w/ them, and add boiled eggs, cheese, olives, etc.
Wrap around asparagus and bake.
Use them to make these little appetizer sandiwches. They will be yummy-good w/ smoked turkey.
HEAVENLY HAM SANDWICHES
1 c. butter, softened (no subs)
3 Tbsp. poppy seeds
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 Tbsp. prepared mustard (or use a sweet-hot mustard)
1 medium onion, minced
1 lb. cooked ham, chopped-to-minced
12 oz. shredded Swiss cheese (can sub ½ Cheddar)
60 small party rolls (Pepperidge Farm or Hawaiian Rolls, or brown-n-serve)
Mix butter, poppy seeds, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Add onion, ham and cheese; mix well. Slice rolls lengthwise and place bottom ½ back in pan. Spoon mixture over rolls. Place top ½ of rolls over mixture. Bake at 325° for 15 minutes or until heated throughout. (These can be frozen before baking.)
Great appetizer. Also good for brunch.

What is a good recipe for a smoked sausage pasta?
I bought some turkey smoked sausage and want to make some sort of noodle dish out of it. Preferably something simple and quick so I don’t have to go back to the store.
“Smoked Sausage with Pasta”
4 ounces uncooked angel hair pasta
1/2 pound reduced-fat smoked turkey sausage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
2 garlic cloves, minced
4 1/2 teaspoons minced fresh basil
1 tablespoon olive or canola oil
1 cup julienned, seeded, plum tomatoes
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large nonstick skillet, saute the sausage, mushrooms, garlic and basil in oil until mushrooms are tender. Drain pasta; add to the sausage mixture. Add the tomatoes, salt and pepper; toss gently. Heat through.
