Collagen was the most widely used product I found during my anti aging skin care review. Collagen is used by marketers to sell skin care cream and body creams. That is all they are, just creams, they do nothing for the protection of your skin.
Collagen molecules are much too large to penetrate into the skin when applied topically.
To be effective in fighting anti aging skin care, you must purchase products with ingredients that have been shown to stimulate your body’s own collagen production.
Fact 2 – Mineral Oil
Mineral oil is a liquid paraffin wax which coats the skin to keep in moisture. It clogs the pores and interferes with the skin’s ability to eliminate toxins. If your skin cannot breathe and eliminate toxins, acne and other disorders are encouraged.
Skin care manufacturers who use mineral oil in their products do so because it is cheap.
